It is with great excitement that the SASA Education Committee hereby announces the 2024/2025 SASA Third Year Bursary Competition. This competition is open to all current 2nd year Statistics/Mathematical Statistics students who are planning to enrol for Statistics/Mathematical Statistics at third year level at a South African university in 2025.
An applicant must be a SASA member to be eligible for this competition. SASA membership is free to any full-time student registered for a degree in statistics or a closely related field at an accredited South African tertiary institution.
Applications for the SASA Third Year Bursary Competition must be completed online.
IMPORTANT TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The SASA Education Committee will handle the adjudication process.
The judges’ decision will be final and there will be no correspondence regarding the decision.
The deadline for applications is Monday, 6 January 2025, but we would prefer entries as soon as possible.
Academic records of final results must be submitted before Monday, 6 January 2025.
